In the back of our vault, we recently found a few of these magnificent .999 pure silver one troy ounce commemorative coins produced in 2019 celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969.
On the front is an American eagle with the earth in the distance underneath the Apollo 11 logo. Symbolizing “the eagle has landed” call made to Mission Control upon landing.
In the reverse the lunar module sits on the moon’s surface with the dates commemorating the anniversary of the famous NASA mission.
The coin comes enclosed in a free acrylic capsule for protection.
